The reason to maintain an active Facebook page is actually pretty simple: it gives you an avenue to further connect with potential and current clients, 24/7.  Even if you are not interested in advertising your business because everyone already knows about you, having a Facebook page allows you to connect on a deeper level.  It’s the perfect way to get insight into how your customers feel, find out what is important to them, and show that you are invested in your customers as much as they are invested in you.  You get the opportunity to engage with the people who keep you in business!

Be the page that people make sure they check every day because they love your content!  Promote community events that make you excited, share your expertise about your services or products, or simply say hello to your customers and respond to their comments.  Social media is supposed to be social.  Engaging with your clients shows that you are not just a business, you are human being.  Like networking, people support those that they know, like, and trust.  Being active on social media helps you get there!
